INDUSTRIAL real estate partners appointed as exclusive broker for CTPark Amsterdam City

November 1, 2022

AMSTERDAM, 1 November 2022 – CTP, Europes largest listed owner, developer and operator of logistics and industrial real estate, is nearing the completion of its multi-storey 125,000 sqm CTPark Amsterdam City in the port area of the Dutch capital. The ‘last mile’ logistics distribution centre development is the biggest of its kind in the Netherlands, with the potential to be expanded by a further 80,000 sqm. CTPark Amsterdam City extends over six levels and is to open its doors for tenants in early 2023, as Dutch logistics vacancy rates hits record low.

INDUSTRIAL real estate partners has been appointed for the leasing of the building. Robert Tiemens, partner at INDUSTRIAL real estate partners: “CTPark Amsterdam City is absolutely unique in size and appearance. With this progressive concept, a foundation has been laid for dealing in an innovative way with the ever-increasing flows of goods and mobility problems in the city and region of Amsterdam. It is a place where companies will soon be able to work together in a mutually reinforcing ecosystem. “

“In order to keep the city and region accessible and liveable in a sustainable way, things have to change. With this building an important first step has been taken. We are currently in conversation with many parties that are working hard to realize their zero-emission operations and reduce their carbon footprint. We see many opportunities for mutual cooperation and for combining forces and goods flows. The building can offer solutions for large companies, but we also offer opportunities for smaller companies from the city and region through our white label concepts”.

The waterfront site is strategically located a short distance to the west of Amsterdam’s city centre in the port area, with direct access to the capital’s A10 ring road and the North Sea Canal. It offers the possibility of short-distance emission-free deliveries by electric vehicles and boats throughout Amsterdam and its canals for multiple tenants such as logistics and construction companies, or food suppliers and packaging firms.

CTPark Amsterdam City has been developed to the highest sustainability standards and its operations will be a minimum of energy neutral due to its self-sufficiency in electricity generation through solar panels and wind turbines. Upon completion the distribution centre will have a BREEAM Excellent sustainability certification.
