Schiphol 17 September 2019 – Clarion Gramercy, an asset management firm of a logistics real estate investment fund has acquired a portfolio of 5 logistics properties of Nabuurs Supply Chain Solutions by a Sale and Leaseback transaction. The investment volume is over 30 million euro.
The portfolio exists of three existing buildings at Katwijk aan de Maas and two built to suit projects at Katwijk aan de Maas and the neighbouring city of Haps, Eastern Brabant. Both projects will be delivered turnkey, one in December 2019 and the other in July 2020.
Nabuurs, a leading Dutch logistics service provider, has closed 10 years lease agreements on all buildings.
In April of this year Clarion Partners LLC, a prominent Asset Management firm with over 51 billion dollar of assets under management, announced the takeover of a majority stake of Gramercy Europe. As a result, the leading position of Clarion in the US, with a portfolio of 16 billion dollar and 700 properties in the logistics sector, was combined with the team of Gramercy Europe, which was responsible for more than 3 billion dollar of logistics acquisitions in Europe over the last six years.
